John S. Krieg
President/CEO
John has an MBA in Construction Management and over 30 years of residential and commercial construction and property management experience. He personally oversees each and every project to assure that the highest quality standards are met. His goal is not only to meet his customer’s expectations, but to exceed them
John’s objective is not only to solve the problem but to identify the cause, so that the issue does not rise again for the homeowner. "Too many times a homeowner pays for a repair over and over again because it either wasn’t fixed right in the first place, or – worse – the source of the real problem was not correctly identified. As a result, people pay two, three, four times for repairs that could have been avoided if the root cause of the problem had been identified instead of just the symptom."
Wayne Stombaugh
Senior Craftsman
Wayne’s undergraduate degree in electronics makes him a natural for the service and craftsmanship that a custom home repair and remodeling company demands. Wayne worked his way from carpenter’s apprentice with a major St. Louis kitchen and bath remodeling company to their lead installer. Along the way, he gained superior knowledge in fine carpentry as well as the trades of electrical and plumbing. As a consequence, Handy Jack’s customers consistently give Wayne A+ ratings in customer satisfaction and expediency.
With more then 12 years of expertise in construction and home remodeling, Wayne’s craftsmanship shines through as a customer writes, "I just wanted to say that we love the bookcases that Wayne built for us." The superlatives that other customers write about Wayne’s work matches his level of skill and proficiency in the home repair and remodeling arena: "All of Wayne’s work looks great. This is the best experience we’ve had since we began remodeling our home." And, "Wayne was professional, courteous and did an outstanding job on every item. This was, by far, the best handyman work I have ever seen."
Greg Jozwik
Senior Craftsman
Greg has been in the "fix-it" business since he was a teenager working in a hardware store in Webster Groves. From there, he graduated to residential building where he worked with experienced crews that brought many room additions out of the ground as well as focusing on remodeling jobs. He joined a local kitchen and bath remodeling specialty company where he continued to increase the complexity of his skills with technically difficult construction and remodeling projects and where he had, in his own words, "the privilege of working under some of the most experienced and exacting craftsmen in the St. Louis area."
One of our clients says of Greg "I especially want to compliment the lead on the project, Greg Jozwik, for the work he did. Greg arrived exactly on time every day and was very accommodating. He was pleasant to work with and made the project as least-disruptive to my home as possible. I also really appreciate that he took the time to answer my questions and to offer suggestions."
Rolla Hoffman
Senior Craftsman
15 years ago, Rolla began his career as an apprentice to a Master Carpenter and worked several years as a Union carpenter building Anderson Windows. Besides being Team Lead for a residential siding installation firm for 4 years, and obtaining a degree from Ranken Tech to become a certified HVAC technician, Rolla spent several years in commercial building maintenance. He learned his craft and trade by working many years in maintenance for the St. Louis Rams at Rams’ Park. He has been with Handy Jack for over four years and is one of the original craftsmen who helped establish the residential repair and remodeling division. Rolla’s superior skills in door, window and deck additions have been greatly appreciated by our many customers who continue to enjoy their outdoor living spaces.
